Abstract

The purpose of this hearing is to examine the specific budgetary needs of the New York City Board of Elections to purchase poll site optical scan voting systems and ancillary components. There is also budgetary needs to allow sufficient poll worker training on the new systems and conduct sufficient public outreach and education.
